Evolvulus has blue-green, velvety foliage with bright blue flowers that bloom continuously from spring until the first frost of fall. The blooms open up in the morning and close up in the evening or on cloudy days.
Evolvulus has good branching and spreads out well. Use it as a border plant or anywhere that you would like a dense ground cover. Once established, it really takes hold and can be drought tolerant. The 1 inch, blue blooms attract butterflies. The plants are also deer resistant.
Plant Evolvulus in full sun 10-12″ apart. Grows 6-12″ tall and 12-14″ wide.
We grow Blue Evolvulus in our #4.5 Annual size category.
