Asparagus Fern Plumosus is used by florists for its rich green, finely-textured, lacy foliage. They also make a nice accent in combination pots and in the landscape. The various Asparagus “ferns” are not true ferns, but are members of the lily family, Liliaceae.

Tips: Use caution when planting Asparagus in fancy or expensive containers. The heavy roots have the capability to break even the best pots.
