Luna Hardy Hibiscus

Luna Hardy Hibiscus are dramatic and impressive, producing compact, bushy plants with large eye-catching blooms up to 8″ wide. Each plant is covered in a large number of huge blooms. Their large blooms attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
Hardy Hibiscus are North American natives and can be found growing in marshes and along stream beds from the east coast to the central part of the U. S. Blooms pop out from July to September or until the first frost. The blooms are short-lived but new blooms continuously burst open to replace the spent blooms.
In late winter trim the stalks back to about 4 inches above the ground and wait for the show to start all over in the spring.
Plant Luna Hibiscus in part sun to full sun 24-36″ apart. Grows 30-36″ tall and 24-30″ wide.
We grow Luna Hardy Hibiscus in our Perennial 1G Deluxe size category and carry Luna Pink Swirl, Luna Red and Luna White.
