Imara Impatiens were bred for high disease resistance to downy mildew that in past years had devastated impatiens beds across the country. This improved impatiens gives gardeners a fighting chance for their shade beds to do well compared to non-resistant impatiens.
Imara is the next step in impatiens and provides gardeners and landscapers with vibrant blooms to brighten up shady landscapes.
Imara grows 10-12″ tall. Plant Imara 10-12″ apart in full shade to partial shade (morning sun).
We grow the Imara series in J6 (606) and #4 (1801) size categories and carry Mix, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Red Star, Rose, Salmon Shades and White.
