Kong Coleus

Kong Coleus has colossal leaves that are worthy of the name Kong. Grown for its outstanding foliage colors, Kong adds a touch of the jungle to your flower beds or containers. Kong Coleus can be used in shady landscapes and flower beds. They make wonderful accent plants in combination containers. Kong can really spread out so be sure to leave them room to make an impression. They also make a nice indoor plant.

Kong Coleus’ foliage provides dramatic colors all season long until first frost. The colors are bright and bold and there are wide varieties in contrasts and patters of the leaves depending on the variety. The plants are bushy with good branching. The leaves are huge and can reach up to 12 inches long. Coleus is a foliage plant so they never go out of color like blooming annuals can sometimes do. Flower spikes are insignificant and should be pinched off to promote more lush foliage.

Plant 15″ to 24″ apart in full shade to part sun. Grows 18” to 20” tall and 15″ to 18″ wide.

We grow Kong Coleus in our #6 Deluxe Annual size and carry six colors.
