Planting A Lot This Week

We are up to our clavicles in plugs and poinsettias that need to be planted this week.  It’s going to take a lot of work but I think we will be able to get it all done.  We are planting poinsettias, pansies, dianthus, snapdragons, petunias and calibrachoas this week.  We have received over 4” of rain in the last 7 days which has kept the temps a little cooler than normal so the mums are loving it.

I finished our tentative item list for next spring.  If our count is correct we will be growing almost 1000 items next year.  We are still discussing several of the additions and whether or not we really need to add them.

We are also working on updating the website.  If you have time take a look at the Fall Plant list.  We have listed the new items and added some new pictures.

Speaking of new items, we have added some 10in Fall Deco pots to this fall’s production.  We think there is a market for fall deco pot color other than mums.  We will have calibrachoas, yellow argyranthemums, wave petunias, angelonias and mona lavender plectranthus.
