Platt’s Black Brass Buttons

Platt's Black Brass Buttons

Platt’s Black Brass Buttons (Leptinella x Platt’s Black) has beautiful bronze- black, fern-like foliage that creeps along on top and underneath the soil to form a soft, fuzzy mat under your feet.  Small yellow button flowers top the plant in spring.  Plant Black Brass Buttons in a woodland setting over mini daffodils for a natural look or line a wire basket with it and add annuals to create a one-of-a-kind container. Brass Buttons look great around entryways, in courtyards, along pathways or as lawn substitute.  Brass Button plants grow best when the soil is kept evenly moist that is to say – Don’t let them dry out!
