Magic Carpet Thyme (Thymus serpyllum ‘Magic Carpet’) is a creeping thyme that forms a tight grip on the ground that can make an impressive lawn substitute and border plant. Deep green foliage has nice, fresh scent of lemon when stepped on and explodes in late spring with carmine-pink flowers. Use Magic Carpet Thyme around roses, in containers or as a curbside planting. Thyme is deer resistant and very drought tolerant.
