Green and White Vinca Major

Variegated Vinca Major

Green and White Vinca Major is a vigorous groundcover that is easy to grow and undemanding. It is also heat and drought tolerant.  Blue 1″-2″ blooms dot the green and white variegated foliage as the ivy-like vines fill in your landscape.

Because it will grow almost anywhere, Vinca Major is sometimes considered a nuisance.  Pick an area where it will not overwhelm your other plants.  Keep trailing vinca trimmed to the area that you need it to cover and do not let it go beyond or it may choke other plants out. Trimmings may take root if they have the proper conditions so dispose of those carefully to prevent unwanted growth.
