Wizard Coleus is a compact coleus with bushy plants and vivid foliage in a kaleidoscope of colors. Wizard naturally grow close to the ground with small plants that brighten up shady gardens. The mid-size leaves are serrated and add texture to beds and containers. The foliage color is strongest in full shade and retains its color all summer long.

Coleus is a tropical plant grown as a summer annual for its variously colored foliage. Foliage colors range from green to bronze, rose, salmon, yellow, and red. The small, blue to white, Salvia-like flowers are insignificant and can be pinched off.

Wizard Coleus performs best in moist well drained soil in shaded locations, but can adapt to lesser sites. Coleus is heat tolerant and moderately drought tolerant. Plants are low maintenance. They do not need pinching and will form a low, bushy mound naturally.

Plant in full shade to part shade 10-14″ apart. Grows 12-14″ tall and 10-12″ wide.

We grow Wizard Coleus in our J6 (606) Annuals and #4 Annuals sizes. Colors grown are Jade, Mix, Pineapple and Scarlet shown below left to right.
